With over 25 years of experience in psychiatry, I’ve had the privilege of witnessing firsthand the strength and resilience of those facing challenges like depression, anxiety, trauma, and other mental health struggles. I understand that these journeys are not one-size-fits-all, which is why our approach is always personalized, compassionate, and focused on the whole person.

Walking into a new place, especially one meant to help with recovery, can be intimidating, but the staff here made sure I never felt alone in the process. Every single person I encountered went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable, supported, and truly cared for. It wasn’t just about doing their jobs—they genuinely wanted to help, and that made all the difference. Throughout my time at Oasis, I was constantly amazed by the staff’s dedication and compassion. I was in the PHP/IOP Day Program for 4+ weeks and glad I was. The treatment I received was super helpful. Each day was unique in the sense that different topics were brought to the group and discussed amongst all persons in group. I really liked the writing aspect of the program as I'm comfortable with expressing my feelings and emotions verbally and on paper. Among group discussions, I found getting into smaller groups was beneficial as we worked with many different people who had similar but different life experiences and challenges. It was a warm feeling to know and see that there are others who are "like" me. I never felt alone or heard. I went into the program without trepidation as I knew the clinicians' experiences, and sensitivity, in dealing with my mental health challenges would not be an issue for them or me. It was evident in the ways I was treated as a person, but as a person in need of help/answers. They most definitely guided me to find many necessary answers to assist me in coping with my own challenges and personal conflicts. I highly recommend this program to anyone who thinks they don't need help with mental health. You will dig into your own self and find the staff are there to help you help yourself.

I really cannot say enough good things about this program. Everyone - from the people in reception, to the counselors, to Dr. Thomas was great. You can tell they truly care and want to help you get better. The day program is informative and we worked on real-life scenarios. It wasn't boring - they made it fun and interactive. It was also pretty laid back which helped a lot. I can wholeheartedly say that I am a better person coming out of the program. I also did TMS which helped immensely. If you are struggling or your therapist recommended a day program do not hesitate to choose Oasis.
